I wanted a place to build a portfolio and document my progress as an artist as I learn. I am very much a beginner at painting, and have a long way to go. I have dabbled in acrylics and digital painting. This weekend I am attending a day long workshop on water color painting. I have been a digital sculptor for a couple of years now working in Blender and ZBrush. I will go through some of my 3D models and post pictures in another blog entry.
This is my first attempt at a landscape, acrylic on mixed media paper.
This painting was a learning exercise for me. I followed along with a short series of instructional videos on Youtube by G. Tal. They are free. If you wish to try your hand at it, here is the first one.
